Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Antonio practically grew up working the stages and theaters of his country. This gave way to a love for that magic that happens behind the scenes, a fascination for music and performance. As a poet he won several literary contests during his college years, and imparted creative writing workshops in communities, schools, colleges and universities. This led him to receive one of the highest awards offered by the University of the Sacred Heart, the Civic Medal for his community work.
In the 2000s, he worked as an audio engineer and traffic assistant for one of the most important post-production houses in Puerto Rico, Digitec San Juan (now Astra Studios). During this time, he worked as recording and mix engineer for several productions, among these Black Guayaba “No Hay Espacio”, Grammy award winner for “Best Latin Rock or Alternative Album” in 2007.
His career as a voice actor occurred in parallel while working as an audio engineer. Working with great directors and producers in the studio, and having the privilege of recording great voice actors was vital to his training as a voice talent. His passion for declamation, his artistic background, his multidisciplinary education, and his indispensable technical lineage all merge into Fornaris’ career as one of the most recognized and successful Puerto Rican voice talents.
From his studio in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Antonio provides his voice to worldwide brands such as T-Mobile, Coors Light, Volvo, KFC, Walgreens, McDonalds, Coca Cola, PayPal, Pandora Media, Hyatt, Hard Rock Cafe, among others. He has narrated multiple academic and training modules for multinational entities and companies such as Amgen, Bayer, Red Cross and USDA.
